The domain sports.at was registered in 1998. It was used by Austrian Sports online at that time, before it was sold by Mainwork.com a few years later. After that, it was used for years by the Vienna Capitals as their homepage.
Later, Frankcom, an IT company based in Lower Bavaria, acquired the domain. Initial considerations to project the domain itself have not been realized so far. For this reason the domain is currently offered for sale.
